We’re excited to welcome you back to San Francisco for the in-person WuXi Global Forum 2023 on January 10. We are grateful to be together once again.
Because this winter continues to see heavy activity for COVID, cold, flu, RSV & other respiratory illnesses, our top priority is to protect your health and safety during our event. We encourage all guests to get your flu shot, make sure your COVID vaccines and booster shots are up-to-date, self-test regularly, and if you feel under the weather, rest up.
For our part, we will adhere to a few important health and safety measures during the Forum.
All attendees will be required to show an image of negative COVID-19 test taken within the 24-hour period before the Forum.
– Complimentary COVID-19 antigen self-testing kits will be available for pickup from 12pm – 8pm on Monday, January 9 and after 9am on January 10, at Hilton Union Square (Tower 3, Continental Ballroom 1). Please self test using this or any other FDA-authorized diagnostic test AFTER 12pm on January 9.
– Upon completion of testing, please take a picture of your negative test result and have it displayed on your phone for us to check before picking up your badge at the event venue during the hours designated below. Please Do NOT bring the actual test, just an image of the negative result.
– For your convenience, we will also offer complimentary 15-minute rapid antigen testing 12pm – 8pm on Monday, January 9 or after 9am on January 10 onsite. Those with negative test results will receive their attendee badges immediately.
To minimize delays when entering the Forum venue, attendees with negative COVID self-test results should pick up their badges between 12pm—8pm on Monday, January 9 or 9am— 12:30pm on Tuesday, January 10 in Continental Ballroom 1. Following a negative COVID test, if you start to show symptoms such as cold, cough or fever, we would appreciate your not entering the venue for the protection of others.
Masks, hand sanitizers and temperature check equipment will be available onsite. Use of a mask during the Forum is optional, but we encourage those who would be more comfortable wearing one to do so. We also will continue to evaluate developments and provide updates as needed, including any new guidance from relevant federal, state or local health authorities.
We look forward to welcoming you to the WuXi Global Forum, and wish you all a very productive JPM week. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at wuxiforum@wuxiapptec.com.
Thank you,
WuXi Global Forum Organizing Committee
