At the Medicine Chest of the World: WuXi AppTec New Jersey Team evolves together with local community

This past weekend, employees and their families from several WuXi AppTec sites across the United States and Europe participated in local community activities to celebrate Earth Day. Among them, our New Jersey team volunteered at the Morven Museum and Garden in downtown Princeton, where they served as "green ambassadors" to promote environmental awareness. This reflects how WuXi AppTec integrates sustainability into everyday operations and thrives in harmony with the innovation ecosystems we call home. 

New Jersey, located at the heart of the U.S. Northeast Corridor, is one of the most vibrant innovation centers for the biopharmaceutical industry. It is home to premier academic institutions such as Rutgers University and Princeton University, more than 10 multinational pharmaceutical giants, and over 3,000 life sciences organizations, attracting a talent pool of more than 200,000 scientists and engineers to support the industry's rapid growth. 13 of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical companies have established regional headquarters in New Jersey, earning the state its reputation as "America’s Medicine Chest."

As an important part of WuXi AppTec’s global network, our New Jersey site is located in Central New Jersey and provides comprehensive Bioanalytical Services (BAS) and Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) services. These offerings support the entire lifecycle of drug discovery and development, from IND-enabling studies to clinical trials, meeting diverse testing needs through close collaboration with other global teams.
